Single leg strength is beneficial for improving performance and preventing injury. It is often ignored or downplayed because it’s not as cool as heavier lifts. When you watch athletes play sports, they are typically on one leg, yet we mainly train these athletes on two legs. Improving single leg strength can improve performance while preventing common lower body injuries.
