Many clients entering fitness spaces are living with chronic stress, unresolved trauma, or nervous system dysregulation—whether or not they have a formal diagnosis. Traditional fitness approaches that emphasize intensity, performance, or discipline can unintentionally reinforce dysregulation, leading to burnout, shutdown, or disengagement.

This session provides fitness and wellness professionals with a practical, trauma-informed framework for working safely and effectively with a wide range of clients. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of dysregulation, apply nervous system-informed coaching strategies, and integrate breath, pacing, and interoceptive awareness into their sessions.

The focus is on immediately applicable tools that improve client safety, trust, adherence, and outcomes—without requiring a clinical background.

Free registration is made possible by the MedFit Education Foundation. Please consider donating to support our mission.
