Expand Your Income Potential: Specialize!
As our population continues to age and medical fitness continues to evolve, health-fitness professionals are likely to see more clients with the primary chronic diseases: heart disease, diabetes and metabolic syndrome, and respiratory or pulmonary disease. To practice ethically and reduce liability exposure, it is important to understand how to properly screen clients with chronic disease and to create safe and effective exercise programs. This Specialist Certificate will help prepare you to work with clients with chronic disease and will diversify and deepen your knowledge base, giving you the ability to attract and effectively train this growing population.
